Additionally, The Village is only 45 minutes away from the state capital of Providence, one of New England’s largest cities and known nationally for it’s wonderful restaurants. Providence’s wide range of cultural, recreational, and educational activities include the Rhode Island Philharmonic and the nationally acclaimed Trinity Square Repertory Theater Company. You’ll find exciting events year-round at such places as the Providence Performing Arts Center, the Providence Civic Center, Roger Williams Park, and area colleges and universities.

Attractive, Safe, & Friendly
The Village at Worden’s Pond offers a number of amenities to ensure that the community remains an attractive, safe, and friendly place to live.
All of the streets are private, and they are regularly cleaned, maintained, and plowed. Utility lines are underground, and all homes are connected to the town-operated public water system. Curbside pickup of rubbish and recyclable material is provided, as is the maintenance of the septic systems serving all homes. We provide a screened, fenced, and secured area for storage of residents’ recreational vehicles and boats, for a fee of $15 to $35 a month, depending on the size of the space. Common areas of The Village are attractively landscaped and maintained.
The Village also features a number of on-site opportunities for recreation and socializing.
The centrally-located Community Clubhouse serves as a social center for Village residents, as well as a location for Community Association meetings and a place for residents’ special events and activities. Regularly scheduled activities at the Clubhouse include bingo, card parties, crafts, luncheons, and potluck dinners. The Community Calendar and Newsletter keeps residents informed about upcoming activities and events. Exercise equipment is available on the lower level of the Clubhouse. Outdoor activities available in the Village and nearby include biking, bird watching, boating and fishing, walking and jogging, and cross country skiing. We have a bocce court, a horseshoe pit, and a shuffleboard court for residents’ enjoyment.
